La duraci\u00f3n del programa es de dos a\u00f1os y solo hay ex\u00e1menes al final del segundo curso. Los alumnos reflexionan sobre la naturaleza del conocimiento y por qu\u00e9 conocemos lo que afirmamos saber.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El curso es un desaf\u00edo intelectual para los alumnos. Investigan \u00e1reas del conocimiento como las Ciencias Naturales, las Artes y las Matem\u00e1ticas y su relaci\u00f3n con la tecnolog\u00eda, el lenguaje, la pol\u00edtica y la religi\u00f3n. Seg\u00fan la <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibo.org\/contentassets\/5895a05412144fe890312bad52b17044\/cas-spanish-final-web.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>gu\u00eda oficial de la asignatura<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>CAS sirve para:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desafiar a los alumnos.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estimular el desarrollo personal.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disfrutar.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reflexionar con un fin determinado acerca de sus experiencias.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comprender que son miembros de comunidades locales y globales y que tienen responsabilidades los unos con los otros y con el entorno.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ffa341;\"><b>Monograf\u00eda<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por \u00faltimo, la Monograf\u00eda (EE, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Extended Essay<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, en ingl\u00e9s) es un <\/span><b>trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dirigido por el propio alumno que culmina con un <\/span><b>ensayo de 4000 palabras<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cada alumno contar\u00e1 con un supervisor, que es un profesor del colegio.
